J Crew girl

Hey guys hope you are all well, over the last week I have been saving outfits ideas for the upcoming season. I always tend to just buy everything I see but this year I have decided to really make lists and right down what I really need and of course making sure everything can be used more than once ... I tend to buy a bright lovely top or cute pair of shoes and I end up not being able to pair my top with sweaters or coats and the shoes well they become somehow ugly and end up at the bottom of my shoe cupboard ... no no no this year I am saving outfit looks that I love and making sure they also mix and match and my list is a lot smaller than usual and a lot more duable!

As you know I love J Crew way too much and always love looking how they pair things together and those looks are my favourite ... Madewell has some cool ones too and being quite simple you can also find most of those items at cheaper price if you want! Or Ebay ... I know sometimes for everyday stuff Ebay is my bff. I tend to buy neutral coloured things like a white sweater or a black roll neck, extra little things that nobody cares whether it is the new J Crew collection or whether it was the last year's one!

I will also be putting a lot of my clothes on ebay in the next few weeks so I will post a link on here and all social platform so if anyone feel like having a look don't hesitate!

Those booties are a must have, they go with nearly everything and are a perfect way to transition into fall! You can find similar ones in any shops at different price range from Forever 21 to Club Monaco and J Crew. 

PS: I think it's time I get my hair colour done now, the summer is over and I really do look like a carrot ...

Happy monday everyone! Bank holiday monday today and as usual it is raining cats and dogs outside the usual really, there is no bank holiday without rain! Plus it's the last bank holiday of the year before christmas! Saturday I woke up at 11am, I know you might think I am lazy but I need my sleep like a baby so anyway after sleeping 12h straight woke up to a sunny day AND a 6 degrees temp ... Can you believe this 6 degrees in August ... Not sure I wanna know what the winter as in store for us ... 

I am not fan of that summer/fall transition to be honest I have a hard time wearing coats and close shoes ... I live for summer (wrong country you are gonna say) So jeans are my go to at the moment with some loafers and a good long sleeve underneath a simple fall jacket! I love Khaki this year (yes because I don't always love it, seriously I have my moods) Khaki with striped dress underneath or just on top of a full on white outfit and a pop of leopard ...

I have a thing for stripes I think you never have enough stripes, blue and white are my fav though (go breton) Stripes can be worn with anything really, stripes is the new black ... Stripes with a white pencil skirt: yes, stripes with a white denim: yes, stripes with pants, short, dresses, overalls: yes yes yes and yes :) 

Talking about a colour being 'the new black' has any of you watched that new Netflix series ' Orange is the new black' ??? We have watched a few episodes last night and it is very weird ... weird in any sense you can think of weird, however for some reasons I need to know what happens so I will have to keep watching!

Hope you all have a lovely bank holiday monday, I am happy to have the hubby at home for one more day!

Want need now wednesday

I love summer more than anything but sadly it's gone, finished, wrapped up. It's gotten so chilly over the last few days and I can't stop clearing and clearing my wardrobe to leave space for some fun fall stuff. Above is literally the looks that I love for crispy days out or at home working at a desk. A chunky white sweater is the best and it can stay in your wardrobe for decades if you have chosen a really good quality one. I love fancy pants or pj pants however you call them I call them comfy pants because really even my favourite jeans aren't as comfortable as this ... You can find some similar ones everywhere I love those ones from GAP and first saw them on Lacey and thought she wore them perfectly! This year I am rather crazy about white, cream, beige (well anything neutral basically) But to add up a bit of wintery feel to it I think those Kate Spade emerald earrings would look gorgeous paired with the pumps. Anything scalloped will end up in my wardrobe wether it's on bedsheets or clothes let alone shoes and clutch ... Those shoes are my dream shoes (in my dreams they are a lot cheaper though) I will probably never ever own them but they needed to be in my wish list you know just in case I win the lottery anytime soon ... I love that little dress why? it has stripes and it's very floaty which is just perfect right? sadly they are out of stock but surely we can find this baby somewhere else :) I love being girly (A LOT) but a cute little dress with new balance and a cute hat is perfection!

Boyfriend shirt

Leopard is still on trend this fall and I could not be more excited! I was not a big fan back when I was a teenager but I guess I lived in France and we take a whole different look at fashion over there ... Don't get me wrong I love French fashion and this little je ne sais quoi but I feel like we all judge each other a little too much too ... Let me explain ... 

Back in high school if you did not have Converses and a Longchamp handbag you didn't have any friends (for real) lol We also stay quite simple and sophisticated in France you might find more black than anything else in someone's wardrobe ... I love the fact that living in London gives me and other people more opportunities to wear what they want ... People are not as shy and worried about the others' opinions, you know what I mean... Anyway all that for some leopard shoes, those shoes who might never see the light of France as I don't think I will ever pack them with me!

I hate when summer comes to and end but this year it feels like it came early ... It's just mid august and we have rain and a slight temperature drop! I found myself wearing my ankle boots and a casual rain coat the other day ... like really? seriously? already?
Anyway as most fashionista July and August are the months to buy your fall collection so here is my little wish list and you will probably find me wearing this casual yet sophisticated look most days!

More favourite looks to come and don't forget to check Pinterest for some more inspiration on the upcoming trends for the winter ... (did I just mention winter?) Can't be worse than the hubby showing me that we only have 20 weekends until Christmas (ouch)

Lakeview

We had a fabulous weekend away in Centre Parks, don't you just love the smell of the forest and those beautiful trees! We spent four days between the lake and the pool and let me tell you I have had so much fun. I managed to come back with a bruise from the crazy water slide though but so much fun :)

This week is a short one as we came back yesterday, already looking forward to the weekend ...
