Cheers to a New Year

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year :)

It's crazy how we can look back a year ago and realise how much everything has changed? The amount of people that have left your life, entered and stayed. The memories you won't forget (our wedding) and the moments you wish you did. Everything, it's crazy how all that happened in just one year...

Where is 2014 going to take us?

I am so thankful for the amazing moments shared with my husband my family and friends this year so thank you to you all out there and to all the followers :)

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

As you may know by now, we were meant to spend Christmas in New York City but sadly my husband lost his passport, which can happen to anyone of us. Our life is a ~~bit~~ crazy at the moment which is not quite what you imagine after 3 months of marriage.

Despite the fact that we both feel miserable and heart broken, we have decided to spend Christmas in a nice hotel in London and enjoy our first Christmas as a married couple. We had decided last year that we wanted our first Christmas as Mr and Mrs to be just the two of us, since we have always spent Christmas with our families and also since we both want to have kids ~~soon~~ (now) lol

I just want to wish you all a wonderful Christmas wether you are with family, friends, partner or alone (I hope not). I hope you are thankful for something or many things in your life, I know for myself I am so thankful for such a wonderful husband, even if lately life has been throwing sh** at us every single day we are stronger than this and we will be fine. So be thankful for any little thing you can hold onto because somewhere in the world someone is fighting for life or has lost a loved one ...

Thank you to everyone for following Sylvia's Sparkles it means so much to me! I have an amazing husband who is so supportive and helpful, a wonderful family and great friends!

What to wear on Christmas morning

Don't you just love Christmas pyjamas? I have tones at home god knows why but they make me happy. I put together a little Christmas morning outfit, because we know it's just so much better to stay all morning in your pj's while opening presents!

{outfit 1} Reindeer tee, Stripy bottoms (you might have seen me with these if you follow my instagram yes yes yes they are men ones but so comfy and cute) UGG slippers

{outfit 2} Robe, bottom is an old J.Crew one but they have some similar ones over here, Slippers

{outfit 3} Dot top, Snowflake shorts, top it off with some cute comfy and warm winter socks and the look is complete :)

Making a list and checking it twice

Hope you all have pretty much done your christmas presents ... I usually do them supper early and this year thinking I was AGAIN doing some wonders I ended up being behind in the dead line date to send my cards and packages to my family in France (oops) I went to the post office with my cards couple of days ago and they said 'oh you are too late lady' well my cards all arrived today so I'm pretty damn on time with my christmas wishes ... don't you think? I mean 4 days before the big day ... not too bad!

I am a bit late on posting gifts ideas because by now its way too late to order things online to get them for christmas but hey you can have a look at what I have on my wish list (for the years to come obviously because I doubt father christmas has been that kind)

Wrapping around the christmas tree!

This is what my gift wrapping table looks like ... You would recognise it even if I didn't say so because it has gold, glitters and confetti ...

When you wrap your presents and decorate your house do like me wear a fun dress and high heels just because its more fun ...
